Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT radiologic procedures at an advanced skills level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs CT Scan Radiology studies; obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient concerns.
  • Administers intravenous contrast media under the direct supervision of the physician and recognizes complications, treating them appropriately.
  • Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations and positions and transfers patients comfortably.
  • Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures.
  • Performs duties as an on-call technologist, trains new staff, and has passed the CT specialty exam as per ARRT.
  • Performs the duties of a Radiographer as needed and prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
  • 2 years of related experience required.
  • Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography (RT(R)(CT)) certification required or Certified in Computed Tomography (CCT) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Working Environment:

This position requires standing, walking, and sitting frequently, as well as carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling occasionally. The occupational hazards include exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
