Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized CT radiologic procedures at an advanced skills level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs CT Scan Radiology studies; obtains patient history, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.
  • Administers intravenous contrast media under the direct supervision of the physician, recognizes complications and treats appropriately.
  • Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.
  • Positions and transfers patients comfortably, immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures.
  • Performs duties as on call technologist, trains new staff and has passed the CT specialty exam as per ARRT.
  • Performs the duties of Radiographer as needed.
  • Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department.
Requirements:
  • 2 years Related experience.
  • Registered Technologist-Computed Tomography - ARRT Upon Hire Required or Certified in Computed Tomography - NMTCB Upon Hire Required and Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
  • Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in computer tomography procedures. Upon Hire Required.
