Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at the Federal Aviation Administration Logistic Center (FAALC) in Oklahoma City, OK. As a member of our multi-functional team, you will provide technical support services to various product divisions, ensuring that electronic systems, subsystems, and components meet serviceability, reliability, and availability requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electronic system/subsystem/component troubleshooting, repair, assembly, refurbishment, installation, calibration, and testing.
  • Design and develop test fixtures and prototypes, analyze equipment performance, collect data, and install equipment.
  • Complete tasks in accordance with applicable FAA and FAALC standards, orders, and technical instructions.
  • Record individual time, leave, and training completion, perform performance management, and comply with customer organization and company standards.
  • Attend training classes, including safety-related courses, to maintain knowledge of repair procedures for all systems.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM's) and Corrective Maintenance (CM's) on FAA and interagency systems.
  • Prepare FAA and interagency assets for shipment to and from field sites, vendor locations, and the Federal Aviation Administration Logistic Center.
  • Enter time into the Data Collection and Reporting System (DCRS) daily to ensure timely billing of hours.
  • Keep Crew Leads informed of assigned tasks and status.
  • Perform corrosion control and prevention.
  • Install electronic and mechanical systems and components on NAS and Inter-Agency systems.
  • Apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions.
Qualifications
  • Minimum High School diploma/GED with completion of formal technical training courses or Associate Degree in Electrical or Engineering Technology.
  • Travel up to 70% of the time.
  • NACI Clearance - ability to obtain Public Trust.
Desired Qualifications
  • Specialized knowledge of FAA systems, equipment, procedures, and operations is desired.
