Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instructional Assistant V to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with youth in an educational setting and will be able to provide support to our teachers and students.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with instructional activities and provide support to students in the classroom
- Help to maintain a safe and organized learning environment
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful educational experience
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience working with youth in an educational setting preferred
- Ability to pass a proficiency test
- Must be able to provide two current letters of recommendation dated within 12 months and signed

Pre-Placement Requirements
Before final hiring and placement, the candidate must pass a Pre-Placement Physical Examination paid for by the Newhall School District.
