Patient Care Assistant - Adult Emergency Department

As a Patient Care Assistant in our Adult Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working night shifts, with a competitive hourly rate and opportunities for professional growth and development. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will work closely with our nursing team to provide direct and indirect patient care, prioritize patient needs, and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care
  • Prioritize patient needs and coordinate care with the nursing team
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required
  • Three months of patient care experience preferred
