Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team at John Muir Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve treatment goals.
  • Develop and Implement Care Plans: Create and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Monitor and Maintain Patient Records: Accurately and thoroughly document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement efforts by identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an emergency department or critical care setting.
  • Certifications/Licensures: Current RN licensure in California, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and strong critical thinking skills.
