About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Petfolk in Huntersville. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of pets in our community by assisting the care team and working with pet parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the care team in providing high-quality patient care and exceptional client experiences.
- Work closely with pet parents to understand their pets' needs and provide personalized support.
- Participate in Fear Free training and certification to ensure a stress-free experience for all pets.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and safe environment for pets and staff.
- Provide technical support and assistance to the care team as needed.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in the pet ecosystem.
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with technology.
