Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Skilled Craft Specialist to join our team at Hamilton County TN. As a Skilled Craft Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of interior and exterior painting and staining work as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist other skilled craft and senior skilled craft specialists as needed
  • Perform independently a variety of interior and exterior painting and staining work as assigned
  • Work under close supervision to complete tasks and projects
Requirements
  • The equivalent of a High School diploma, plus five (5) years of experience in painting and related type work
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Ability to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal, State and County codes and regulations relating to building maintenance and workplace safety
Working Conditions

This position requires sustained physical effort in all weather environments, involving considerable walking and standing with limited sitting. Driving a county truck or van for prolonged periods of time to access work sites may be required.
