Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams and diagnostic tests, to identify health problems and develop effective treatment plans.
- Communicate with patients to ensure their emotional and physical comfort, and provide education on health status and self-care.
- Collaborate with faculty physicians to provide primary care and family medicine services, and participate in quality assessment programs to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, and notify physicians of any abnormalities or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical and administrative policies, procedures, and safety protocols to provide safe and effective care.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, or post-Master's certificate in Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Tennessee and board certification or eligibility to practice as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Eligibility for a certificate of fitness to prescribe medication in the State of Tennessee, if applicable.
