Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist to join their team in Fort Bragg, California. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

About the Role

The Imaging Specialist will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts as ordered by physicians. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, ability to position patients properly, and ensure safety during exams.

Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology: Preferred

In addition to education, the following certifications are required:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA and HI
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
Responsibilities
  • Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation, explains procedures to patients, and prepares equipment for use as needed.
  • Produces diagnostic images, documents exam information, and reports important information to the physician.
  • Verifies exams on PACS and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
