About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Cross Country Allied.

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work as a Medical Imaging Specialist in a hospital or outpatient center setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for taking medical images of patients using computerized tomography (CT) equipment. Your primary goal will be to ensure that patients receive high-quality imaging services while maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety throughout the process.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality medical images, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Image Processing: Process and analyze images to help radiologists and physicians diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and any other relevant information.
Requirements:
  • Education and Certification: Possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, along with current ARRT certification.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of recent experience working as a CT Technologist, preferably in a hospital or outpatient center setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Be proficient in CT equipment operation, image processing software, and electronic medical records systems.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary package, including a tax-free stipend amount, comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage, and unlimited free CE credits. The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$95,000, based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.
