Position Overview:
As an Aircraft Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the installation of preassembled wiring harnesses in accordance with established routing protocols. Your role will involve securing components using various clips, brackets, and holding devices.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Connect wiring to equipment, panels, relays, and accessories.
2. Conduct continuity checks on primary installations to ensure functionality.
3. Utilize your hands-on electrical experience to work effectively on aircraft systems.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in aircraft electrical assembly.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints.
- Skills in routing wires on an electrical wiring board, including pin and plug processes.
- Experience in stripping, crimping, terminating, and soldering wires.
- Competence in wiring harness buildup and installation within aircraft.

Desired Skills:
Familiarity with electrical assemblies, wire harnesses, wire bundles, and circuit breakers is preferred. Candidates should be adept at routing, assembling, and installing electrical and electronic components, including:
- Integrated avionics and avionics systems.
- Aircraft electronic devices.
- Communication and navigation systems.

Security Clearance:
This position requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens to be eligible for consideration.

Work Environment:
This role is performed onsite at a designated facility, and Lockheed Martin offers a variety of work schedules to provide flexibility to employees. The standard schedule may include 4x10 hour days with three days off per week.
