Tempering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Tempering Specialist to join our team at Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions. As a Tempering Specialist, you will be responsible for handling glass from tables and rolling racks, transporting materials, and following work instructions to expedite the production process.

• Handle glass from tables and rolling racks for eight to twelve hours daily.
• Transport materials, including glass, from one position/location.
• Follow work instructions by reading labels to expedite the production process.
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notify supervisor immediately of any issues.

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment; glass industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager, and/or Branch Manager.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region in a non-climate-controlled facility.
