At Service Corporation International, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Transfer Specialist to join our team. As a Transfer Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the dignified and respectful transfer of deceased individuals to their final resting place.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive company-owned vehicles to perform transfers of deceased individuals, adhering to local and state/provincial laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with first responders, coroners, hospital staff, and senior living facility staff to ensure seamless processes and procedures.
  • Interact with bereaved family members in a courteous and professional manner, exhibiting sensitivity to their environment and minimizing conversation.
  • Enter deceased event information into proprietary software according to company procedures.
  • Transport caskets to airports, care centers, or funeral homes, and assist with moving caskets.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current state/province issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • At least one (1) year work experience as a courier, driver, with direct customer interaction strongly preferred.
