  • Delivers all food items to guests promptly.
  • Accurately describes dishes as they are served.
  • Communicates guest needs to front-of-house staff and/or kitchen personnel.
  • Assists in maintaining tables and clearing excess tableware.
  • Ensures cleanliness of service stations and the overall venue.
  • Manages the culinary service station and completes all assigned tasks.
  • Exhibits a positive and professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Understands and adheres to the organization's policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Maintains conversational knowledge of food and beverage items offered.
  • Participates in training sessions, departmental meetings, or pre-shift briefings.
  • Ensures the safety and well-being of all guests and colleagues by following safety standards and complying with health regulations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fine dining environment.
  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Exhibits excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Actively contributes as a team player by supporting colleagues throughout shifts.
  • Understands the responsibilities outlined in their job description.
  • Reports safety concerns to management immediately.

Required Certifications

  • Certification in Alcohol Awareness (e.g., TIPS/SIPS)
  • Food Handling Safety certification

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and bending to handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Role may involve repetitive motion tasks.
  • Exposure to hot kitchen equipment and cleaning materials may occur.
  • Must maintain focus in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
