Job Title: Information Assurance Professional (Secret)

Job Summary:
Belcan is seeking a highly skilled Information Assurance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Cyber Security team, you will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of business objectives, recognizing and incorporating various security designs and lessons learned, and working under limited direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the achievement of business objectives
  • Recognize and incorporate various security designs and lessons learned
  • Regular contact with senior levels of internal security work groups
  • Work under limited direction
  • Contact with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department and with project teams
  • Maintain contact with external customers' security professionals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field
  • 8+ years of job-related experience OR
  • Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
  • Proficient use and understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Proficient understanding of cyber security specifications such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), DIACAP, STIGs and other government security specifications and guidelines
  • Proficient knowledge of cyber security technology and trends
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Able to sell concepts and ideas
  • Proficient ability in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions as they affect the cyber design and implementation
  • Proficient ability to clearly report relevant cyber systems engineering design
  • Ability to participate in or lead security work groups
  • Creative thinker, good multi-tasker
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
