We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at Community Memorial Health System. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current California Registered Nurse License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification (OVCH Only).
- Six (6) months of recent full-time acute care ICU/CCU experience in an acute care hospital.
- Successful completion of Stroke/Sepsis Education competency within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Certification.
- Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) standards.
