Your Role:
In your capacity as a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will collaborate with our defense clients to support the warfighter, ensuring they acquire all necessary resources for optimal operational strength. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly influence our nation's defense acquisition and contract processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pre-award contract administration for the program office.
- Analyze requirements and assist in drafting essential acquisition documentation, including Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategies, Justification and Approvals, Statements of Work, and Contract Line-Item Number structures.
- Advise on suitable acquisition types, including C-type contracts, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, and Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs).
- Provide guidance on emerging contractual issues and monitor pending and active contract actions.
- Ensure the secure storage and handling of sensitive documents.
- Enhance your acquisition knowledge by staying updated on all statutory and regulatory changes affecting project success.
- Collaborate with your team to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to achieve consensus.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DoD contract management or administration.
- Proficient in navigating the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations System (DFARS).
- Experience with Cost-Reimbursement, IDIQ contracts, and BAAs.
- Strong understanding of DoD contract concepts and acquisition law.
- Ability to independently draft all pre-award documentation for a Request for Proposal package.
- Possession of a Secret clearance.
- High School diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist.
- Background in supporting the Navy or NAVSEA Program Office.
- Familiarity with Agile or software development contracts.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and creativity in resolving contractual challenges.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) Certification.
Clearance Requirement:
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Compensation:

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 annually.
