We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Rates Compliance & Controls to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the integrity of rates testing for our Personal Lines property insurance offerings. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in personal lines, property insurance, rates, and compliance, guiding our strategic objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and comprehend current product filings, focusing on rates and regulations.
  • Assess the existing rates regression testing framework, pinpoint deficiencies, and collaborate with the QA team for enhancements.
  • Execute testing on current products to uncover rates-related quality concerns.
  • Evaluate in-progress rates for new products or modifications to identify potential quality issues.
  • Offer expert insights to the business analysis and engineering teams to enhance quality outcomes.
  • Work closely with Product Development & Actuarial teams to elevate product knowledge within our QA processes.
  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new products from an insurance expert's viewpoint.
  • Undertake additional tasks and initiatives as they arise.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience with residential property insurance products.
  • Proven track record in identifying and resolving quality issues related to residential property products, including rates and regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of development methodologies and their relevance to defect prevention.
  • Familiarity with business requirements and plans, particularly in relation to quality traceability.
  • Ability to read JSON, XML, and perform comparisons between files or API responses to detect discrepancies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with TestRail, JIRA, Confluence, and SmartSheet.
  • Interest in learning about APIs, Postman, Java, or Python.
