About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Winter Garden. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams on patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI exams using AdventHealth protocols and guidelines
  • Ensure proper patient identification and education before each exam
  • Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and optimizing patient flow
  • Screen patients for contraindications and maintain a safe and clean MRI environment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care
Requirements
  • ARRT certification in MRI or CT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current State of Florida license as a General Radiographer (preferred)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
  • Prior MRI experience on GE magnets (preferred)
  • Prior CT experience (preferred)
