Job Summary

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to join our team at AdventHealth Winter Garden. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all exams using established protocols and facility policy for proper identification of patients prior to performing exams.
  • Complete all exams in a timely manner, keeping workflow moving, and minimizing empty table time.
  • Operate all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment.
  • Properly screen patients of childbearing age and operate all imaging equipment in a safe manner, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and coworkers.
  • Review all images of all exams, repeating images as necessary for best possible results, and notify physicians of emergent findings according to established protocol.
Requirements
  • Completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration.
  • Computed Tomography A.R.R.T. (CT) certification if required by facility.
  • General radiographer state license as required by state if required by facility.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years hospital-based clinical Radiology experience.
