Job Title: Outreach and Education Specialist

Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York (PPCWNY) is a leading provider of reproductive health care and education. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Outreach and Education Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Outreach and Education Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering outreach programs that promote reproductive health awareness, healthy relationships, and self-empowerment. This role will work with diverse individuals at all age levels, providing education and support on a wide range of sexuality, relationship, and reproductive health issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement outreach programs that promote reproductive health awareness and education
  • Work with diverse individuals at all age levels to provide education and support on reproductive health issues
  • Collaborate with community partners to promote healthy relationships and self-empowerment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
  • Provide education and support on reproductive health issues through presentations, workshops, and other outreach activities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. public health, education, social work)
  • 2+ years of experience in outreach and education, preferably in a reproductive health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
Salary:

$19.03 - $22.06 per year
