  • Position Overview:

    HAMADEH EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, Inc. is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic K-12 Wellness Educator to become a vital part of our educational team. The Wellness Educator will design and implement a stimulating learning atmosphere that caters to the diverse needs of all students, fostering a passion for fitness and health that lays the groundwork for a lifetime of well-being.

    Academy Mission:

    Our mission is to deliver a high-quality education that emphasizes a core curriculum enriched with international cultures, including language studies. We aim to educate the whole child by incorporating various cultural and ethnic perspectives into our college-preparatory program, serving families in the Greater Detroit area.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Ensure all students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences that align with state educational standards.
    • Utilize effective instructional strategies, activities, and resources tailored to diverse learning styles.
    • Recognize and address individual student needs to promote understanding and engagement.
    • Create a supportive classroom environment that is suitable for the maturity and interests of students.
    • Promote the benefits of physical health, strong relationships, enhanced self-esteem, and a sense of security among students.
    • Design and implement recreational programs and health education that inspire students to foster community spirit.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education or a related field is required.
    • Valid Michigan Teacher Certification with a 6-12 or K-12 Physical Education endorsement is mandatory.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Michigan Core Curriculum is essential.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications is required.
    • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
    • Experience in a culturally diverse educational setting is preferred.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Must be a flexible, open-minded, and self-motivated team player.
    • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
