Position Summary: The Low-Voltage Security Systems Technician II position provides an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a seasoned security systems expert, enhancing your skills in the installation and upkeep of surveillance and access control technologies for diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute installation and maintenance of surveillance and access control systems
- Identify and troubleshoot various electrical, networking, and hardware challenges
- Install and connect access control panels
- Position, aim, and configure surveillance cameras effectively
- Install essential door components, including motion sensors, door contacts, readers, and locks
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in low-voltage cabling
- A minimum of 2 years in IP-based networking and surveillance and access control systems
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficient with basic hand and power tools
- Dependable, professional, and mature demeanor
- Willingness to travel to various job sites
- Ability to pass a thorough background check
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Possession of active Virginia DCJS or Maryland Security Systems Agency certifications
