Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Holston Medical Group. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographs for medical diagnostic purposes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including setting up and operating x-ray equipment and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  • Educate patients and others regarding procedures and related information, as demonstrated by documentation and feedback.
  • Prepare examination rooms, ensuring that necessary supplies are present and ready for use.
  • Maintain accurate records of patients treated, examinations performed, views taken, and settings used.
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including warming techniques, and ensure proper power-up procedures.
  • Ability to maneuver all radiology equipment and may be required to work in other offices as needed.
Requirements
  • Two to five years of RT experience, with thorough knowledge of medical imaging procedures and equipment.
  • Registered by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and a State of Tennessee license within thirty days of hire.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety techniques, including collimation, radiation monitoring, and protection.
  • Operational knowledge of computerized/digital radiography and PACS systems is preferred.
