At Holston Medical Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
Main Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including radiographs, fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities.
- Educate patients and other healthcare professionals regarding procedures and related information.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies are available and in working order.
- Maintain accurate records of patients treated, examinations performed, and imaging settings used.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including x-ray machines and digital radiography systems.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.
- Two to five years of experience in radiology or a related field.
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a State of Tennessee license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of radiation safety techniques and digital radiography systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment, with frequent interruptions and distractions. The successful candidate will be able to remain in a stationary position for at least 25% of the time and move objects up to 50 pounds occasionally.
