We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at the St. Cloud VA Health Care System. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical exams, and developing treatment plans.
Responsibilities- Provide general medicine services, including performing medical exams, writing orders for lab and x-ray, and prescribing medications.
- Function as a primary care provider, requesting consultations from specialists and subspecialists as needed.
- Participate in quality management activities and hold routine administrative duties.
- Attend medical staff and service-level meetings, and participate in clinical conferences for staff.
- Enter all medical documentation in the Computerized Patient Records Systems (CPRS) and electronically sign all orders and prescriptions.
- Must have a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- Must have board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
- Must have ACLS and BLS certification.
