Overview

We are looking for a skilled Production Manager to oversee all aspects of landscape maintenance services. This role includes the organization of materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors necessary to deliver high-quality work in the landscape sector.

As a Production Manager, you will be actively engaged in the field, monitoring crews and interacting with clients to ensure satisfaction and quality service. The dynamic nature of this role ensures that no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise multiple crew members focusing on maintenance operations.
  • Manage all landscape enhancement services, coordinating materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure quality outcomes. Monitor crew performance and coach employees to meet productivity and safety standards.
  • Conduct operations with a strong emphasis on safety, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Inspect properties prior to scheduled services to prepare specific action plans.
  • Oversee on-site training and skill development for new and existing employees.
  • Review daily production hours and submit necessary adjustments; ensure timely and accurate completion of records and reports.
  • Monitor labor allocation and communicate work instructions to crews.
  • Utilize tools and resources effectively to schedule crew work.
  • Ensure project timelines are met and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Regularly visit job sites and attend client meetings to ensure quality aligns with project scope.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to enhance client communication and service delivery.
  • Work closely with the Mechanics Team to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
  • Propose new processes to improve operations, safety, productivity, and customer service.
  • Take responsibility for operational goals and ensure job completion meets client expectations.
  • Assess operational needs and manage the procurement of job-related materials.
  • Mentor and develop team members for future growth opportunities.
  • Review and approve employee time-off requests.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for new crew members.
  • Possess knowledge of horticultural best practices and be prepared to address questions regarding plant identification.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
