Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer - Open Pit

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer - Open Pit to provide geotechnical support for the successful implementation of short and medium-term mine plans and operations at our Phoenix Mine. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing geotechnical expertise to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the mine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide geotechnical support for mine planning and operations
  • Conduct routine geotechnical inspections of pit slopes, waste rock storage facilities, and leach facilities
  • Review and interpret geotechnical monitoring data
  • Develop and implement geotechnical drilling investigation programs
  • Collaborate with other departments to communicate geotechnical findings and recommendations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, or Geological Engineering
  • 0-3 years of professional geotechnical experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
