Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial analysis and support to the NAVAIR Comptroller Accounting Department, including business process improvement and accounting solutions.
  • Respond to inquiries, resolve accounting discrepancies, and prepare supporting documentation.
  • Apply standard operating procedures and obtain necessary information to support accounting record reconciliation processes.
  • Support period end close activities, including Month End Close and Year End Close.
  • Prepare and validate Journal Vouchers and create Field Level Journal Voucher (FLJV) packages.
Requirements:
  • Three (3) years of work experience in finance or accounting.
  • Secret Clearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NAWCAD/NAVAIR specific experience.
  • NAVY ERP experience/skill.
Education Requirements:
  • AS/AA degree.
