Job Title: Recruitment Coordinator

Friends of the Children New York seeks an organized Recruitment Coordinator to oversee recruitment efforts and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $38-$45 per hour (part-time, 10-20 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruits candidates through job boards, social media, and professional networks
  • Reviews resumes and conducts initial interviews to assess candidate skills and fit
  • Coordinates interviews with hiring managers
  • Conducts background and reference checks
  • Provides exceptional customer service to candidates
  • Crafts job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers
  • Tracks recruitment metrics and updates candidate information in the ADP TotalSource applicant tracking system

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Google suite, ADP TotalSource, and Asana
  • Experience with payroll and benefits a plus
