Job Title: Registered Nurse

About the Role

This is a full-time position with 36 hours per week. The successful candidate will be part of our 6 Central - Neurology, Epilepsy, and Stroke team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to clinical documentation guidelines and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a team of nationally recognized physicians, nurses, surgeons, and specialists to deliver innovative treatments and technologies.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, engage in lifelong learning, and demonstrate expertise in clinical assessment, planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and implementation of care.
  • Empower patients and families through relationship-based care, promoting a patient-centered approach.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, applying technologies that support patient care and implementing evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
