About the RoleThis is a full-time position with 36 hours per week. The successful candidate will be part of our 6 Central - Neurology, Epilepsy, and Stroke team.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to clinical documentation guidelines and promoting positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with a team of nationally recognized physicians, nurses, surgeons, and specialists to deliver innovative treatments and technologies.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, engage in lifelong learning, and demonstrate expertise in clinical assessment, planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and implementation of care.
- Empower patients and families through relationship-based care, promoting a patient-centered approach.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, applying technologies that support patient care and implementing evidence-based practices.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
- 1 year of relevant experience.
- Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
