About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Dental Health Expert for Kids to join our team at Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board Inc. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the dental health of children in our community.

Key Responsibilities

This position requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care, education, and treatment. As a Dental Health Expert for Kids, you will be responsible for evaluating pediatric patients' conditions, providing prophylaxis and preventative dental services, treating dental caries, administering local anesthetics, and conducting pulpotomies and stainless-steel crown placements.

You will also be responsible for providing basis periodontal care, performing pediatric oral surgery, designing and fabricating pediatric space maintainers, educating patients and their guardians on child-specific oral hygiene and home care practices, and complying with federal laws and regulations as required by HIPAA.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Dental Medicine (DMD) from a school approved by the Council on Dental Education, American Dental Association (ADA), or other dental school.
  • Must have a pediatric dentistry certification from an accredited organization.
  • Post-licensure professional experience in the practice of pediatric dentistry.
  • Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in any U.S. State or Territory.
  • Must obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges, including any licensure requirements.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, or must be obtained within ninety (90) days of employment.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
