About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Kettering Health Hamilton. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients in accordance with state and national practice acts. You will work closely with the referral source to determine the extent of symptoms and/or functional limitations relevant to the diagnosis. Your goal will be to develop a treatment plan that decreases or eliminates symptoms and functional limitations. Key responsibilities include direct patient care, day-to-day patient scheduling, supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants and students, consultation with physicians and other team members, documentation in the electronic medical record, quality assurance and performance improvement, clinical education, guest relations, and billing for patient services rendered.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of physical therapy required. Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate required.

Licensed by the State of Ohio as a Physical Therapist.

CPR certified.

Ability to evaluate, formulate a plan of care, and perform therapy treatments in accordance with the established plan of care.

Ability to delegate appropriate treatment activities to supportive personnel.

Knowledge of and ability to use therapy equipment.

Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, documentation in electronic medical record.

Good interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
