Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment.
  • Diagnostic Support: Conduct thorough reviews of patient health history, take and process x-rays, and utilize diagnostic assessments.
  • Chairside Assistance: Provide superior support to dentists during procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts.
  • Administrative Tasks: Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping, manage supply and inventory levels, and place orders as needed.
Requirements
  • Working Knowledge: Familiarity with dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a dental setting, preferably with Dentrix or similar dental software.
  • Certifications: Dental assisting school certification and/or x-ray certification, as required by state dental practice acts.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
