Concrete Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team at Axios Professional Recruitment. As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for all phases of pouring and finishing of concrete in South West Michigan and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing Sites: clear and level areas where concrete will be poured, ensuring proper drainage and stability.
• Mixing Concrete: may mix concrete using mixers or prepare premixed concrete for pouring.
• Pouring and Spreading: pour concrete into forms, spread it evenly, and ensure it fills all gaps.
• Finishing: smooth and finish the surface using various tools to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
• Setting Forms: set up and dismantle wooden or metal forms that shape the concrete as it sets.
• Curing: monitor and maintain moisture levels to ensure proper curing, which helps prevent cracking.
• Cleaning Tools and Equipment: clean tools and equipment to ensure they're in good condition for future use.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience pouring concrete preferred
• Ability to work in all conditions (hot, cold, outdoors, etc).
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• High School or Equivalent
