Greenrise Technologies, a full-service green infrastructure firm headquartered in Tennessee, is seeking an experienced Erosion Control Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include completing physical installations of silt fence, inlet protections, and slope matting on residential and commercial sites, while ensuring high standards of quality and customer service.

Job Summary

This is a General Labor position with multiple job duties essential to daily operations in the erosion control division for Greenrise Technologies. The crew member is responsible for taking direction from the Crew Leader to complete work as assigned in the most efficient manner. You may utilize vehicles, hand tools, and some equipment to complete your work each day.

Duties & Functions
  • Go over the daily work schedule with the Crew Leader each morning.
  • Assist with loading trucks with proper installation materials each morning.
  • Represent Greenrise Technologies in a professional manner to customers and homeowners at all times.
  • Complete all erosion control work to a high standard of excellence and Greenrise Technologies quality.
  • Follow all safety protocols pertaining to vehicles, equipment, or site conduct as instructed.
  • Install all erosion control products to the specifications of your crew leader's direction.
  • Communicate effectively with operations managers and fellow crew members.
  • Achieve daily and weekly goals for your crew's silt fence installation output.
  • Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment are taken care of and inspected properly.
  • Relay important information, incident reports, or concerns utilizing the proper chain of command.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have the ability to listen well and follow directions, strong problem-solving and communication skills, a commitment to customer service, reliable and punctual attendance, and physical fitness to work long days outside in the elements. A valid driver's license and experience working with tools and equipment specific to erosion control installations are preferred.
