Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Bellevue, OH.

About the Job:

This is a temporary assignment to fill a staffing gap in a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program, an active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Ohio, and national certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative pain management.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting.
  • Strong clinical expertise and technical proficiency in administering various anesthesia techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a surgical team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing patient conditions.
