**Job Summary**

Seneca Foods, a leading provider of packaged fruits and vegetables, is seeking a skilled Can Supply Foreperson to join our team in Glencoe, MN. As a key member of our production operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient supply of cans during production, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, and upholding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the can supply during production, including full cans, empty cans, palletizers, and related equipment.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Accurately record and track equipment maintenance, repairs, and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs and safety regulations, and enforce adherence among team members.
  • Assist the labeling and shipping departments as needed, and provide training to seasonal staff.
  • Lead and train personnel to achieve production goals and objectives.

**Requirements:**

  • Two-year college degree or equivalent mechanical/repair experience.
  • Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, twist, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead personnel.
