This position provides administrative support to the Distribution Center; scheduling of the loading/ unloading of product, empty cans, dunnage, and supplies for the Glencoe location warehouses.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting a good example in all areas of Safety; including holding co-workers accountable for safety rules/ regulations
  • Provides administrative support to the Distribution Center; scheduling of the loading/ unloading of product, empty cans, dunnage, and supplies for the Glencoe location warehouses
  • Processes orders using GEM and SAP for shipping, receiving, and rail on a daily basis to ensure timely deliveries
  • Is the main point of contact regarding transportation of goods; via telephone and E-mail
  • Ensures proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) are performed
  • May be responsible for the ordering of ingredients, supplies, and related materials
  • Light forklift/pallet jack duties, including LTLs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Related experience or post- secondary business-related course work preferred
  • Must have strong computer skills (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, prioritization, and time management
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of an organization; including outside customer contacts
  • Ability to lead and train personnel
  • Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
