Job Summary

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment to produce high-quality radiographs of designated body parts, positioning patients for examination, and ensuring the safety of patients during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body parts
  • Position patients for examination and ensure their safety during imaging procedures
  • Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph
  • Prepare equipment for use and prepare examination rooms for patient exams
  • Monitor patients and report important information to physicians
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in radiological technology or equivalent experience
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred)
