Job Title: Mammography Technologist

At RadNet Bakersfield (Kern-Radiology), we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of radiology. We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate mammographic equipment and other devices with precision and attention to detail, adhering to established company policies and protocols.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a timely manner, prioritizing patient comfort and care.
  • Understand and utilize various equipment settings, including compression, exposure modes, and filter selection, to optimize image quality.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognizing and addressing any discomfort or medical issues.
  • Guide patients through the examination process, providing clear explanations and addressing their concerns.
  • Respond to physician inquiries and needs regarding patient care.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient confidentiality and safeguarding patient property and health information.
Requirements:
  • ARRT(R)(M) certification
  • State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred
