Role Overview

As a Branch Collections Specialist at OneMain Financial, you will play a critical role in helping customers succeed in resolving their financial obligations. You will be responsible for contacting customers to arrange for repayment or settlement of account balances, focusing on existing customers with long-term relationships with OneMain.

Key Responsibilities
  • High volume collections activities to achieve delinquency goals for an assigned branch
  • Work with customers in a consultative manner, negotiating to resolve account matters, including renewing loans
  • Commitment to excellent customer service, prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to overcome objections and utilize strong negotiation skills to resolve customer delinquencies
Requirements
  • HS Diploma/GED
  • Collections or Customer Service experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual (language requirement per need)
