We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Atrium Health. As a key member of our pharmacy leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of pharmacy departmental policies, procedures, and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development of professional guidelines to ensure quality pharmacy services.
- Work under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Services to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including the DEA, FDA, and North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
- Oversee pharmacy staffing and scheduling to ensure safe patient care.
- Coordinate and integrate interdepartmental and intradepartmental services, and participate in various committees.
- Ensure that policies and procedures promoting safe and effective use of medications are followed.
- Assist in the planning of new and/or revised pharmacy services based on new innovations, technology, and/or regulatory changes.
- Assess and improve the performance of the pharmacy services provided.
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy required.
- Licensed in the state of North Carolina or eligible for reciprocity required.
- Two years of work-related experience in pharmacy required.
- MBA or other advanced leadership degree preferred, HSPAL residency preferred, 340B ACE certification preferred.
- Proficient in Excel and additional computer programming skills like Python, C++, MS in Health Informatics preferred.
