The Production Line Supervisor is responsible for organizing the workload and staffing of assembly operations based on product priorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collaborates with the Assembly Line Supervisor to manage line workload and staffing according to product priorities.

- Ensures that all work adheres to Jabil's high workmanship standards and closely monitors the Continuous Improvement Quality (CIQ) system to promptly address any recurring issues.

- Reduces changeover times through effective planning and organization.

- Minimizes excess materials on the production floor and ensures the proper stocking and availability of operational supplies and equipment.

- Verifies that only the most accurate, current, and authorized documentation is accessible on the line.

- Communicates any deviations or changes to employees effectively.

- Reports all employee-related issues, concerns, and suggestions to the Manufacturing Supervisor without delay.

- Pursues continuous improvement in all aspects of responsibility.

- Ensures that line personnel are thoroughly trained, certified, and fulfilling their assigned roles.

- Motivates and encourages all team members to reach their full potential through timely feedback.

- Monitors production output to ensure that all deadlines and schedules are consistently met.

- Reviews relevant policies and procedures, ensuring that all appropriate employees are informed and compliant.

- May undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.

- Proficient in problem-solving, data collection, and establishing factual conclusions.

- Competent in operating a personal computer, including proficiency in Windows-based systems and related software.

- Advanced skills in PC operations, including familiarity with Jabil's software packages.

- Capable of writing basic correspondence and understanding visual aids.

- Ability to follow simple instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variables.

- Proficient in basic arithmetic operations and able to interpret graphs and data.
