Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at Orion Lakes Family Dentistry PLLC. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during various procedures, preparing and organizing instruments and materials, taking digital dental x-rays, and sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and operatory areas. You will also be responsible for educating patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care, providing patients with information and answering questions about their treatments, and ensuring patient records are accurate and up-to-date.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will be responsible for scheduling and confirming patient appointments, managing patient records, ordering and managing dental supplies and inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized office environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • X-ray certification or CDA preferred.
  • Previous experience as a dental assistant.
  • Knowledge of dental software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience.
