- Maintain assigned mechanical rooms and work areas.
- Inventories and maintains stocking of material in an orderly fashion.
- Evaluate and recommend orders for parts or materials needed.
- Accurately and timely fill out work summary sheets, log books, and equipment log sheets.
- Participate in and foster an approach to continuously improving quality.
- Respond to emergencies and perform assigned duties in case of fire or internal/external disaster.
- Use good communication and human relation skills when dealing with coworkers, other departments, and the public.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to speak and understand English is highly recommended.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in liquid units of measure.
- Ability to solve practical problems related to the job.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions from managers and supervisors.
