Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the FAA regulatory framework, GE Quality standards, and systems related to Boeing 747 aircraft and turbofan engines. Responsibilities include managing intricate assignments that have significant long-term business impacts, addressing complex challenges within specialized areas, and contributing to the broader business strategy. This role also plays a supportive part in decision-making on critical matters, requiring high levels of evaluative judgment to achieve desired outcomes.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience in supervising both union and non-union personnel.
  • Hands-on maintenance experience with both wide-body and narrow-body aircraft.
  • Quality assurance experience that includes not only audits but also practical repair station involvement.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, focusing on aviation sciences, aviation maintenance, quality systems, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in a highly regulated quality management environment, including aircraft operations, aviation maintenance support, flight testing, and manufacturing or maintenance of aviation systems.
  • Possession of a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is required.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs arise.
  • Readiness to travel to support operations at various locations as required.
  • Willingness to participate in flight tests aboard experimental aircraft.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain an FAA Class-3 medical certificate or equivalent.
  • Compliance with all requirements of the Zero Tolerance DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is competitive, reflecting the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of the base salary.
