Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Permobil. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for strategically managing and growing the assigned territory by effectively promoting, selling, and supporting Permobil's complex rehab and assistive technology products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a robust sales strategy aligned with company goals, driving significant business impact.
  • Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients, understanding client needs, and proposing tailored solutions to create demand.
  • Oversee the demo inventory at various referral and customer locations within the territory, ensuring the availability, proper use, and optimal allocation of demo units to support sales objectives.
  • Continuously analyze sales trends within the territory, providing regular reports and planning sales activities based on these insights to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing clients to strengthen relationships, ensure satisfaction with our products and services, and implement creative marketing initiatives for core business growth.
  • Identify and engage with potential customers, employing innovative strategies to convert them from competitors to Permobil customers.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, products, technologies, and competitive activities, and leverage this knowledge in sales strategies and tactics.
  • Ensure thorough knowledge and application of company policies and procedures within the territory, including the company vehicle policy.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and meetings, as required.
  • Utilize approved sales collateral for promotional needs and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet territorial objectives.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks, including paperwork, are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Technical Discipline, or a related area is preferred.
  • ATP, OT, or PT license is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in the medical device field, preferably in complex rehab/assistive technology.
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs to influence and guide strategic decisions.
  • Experience in conducting multiple referral calls daily.
  • Proven skills in business planning, consulting, and territory financial analysis.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and consultative sales skills.
  • Ability to make informed decisions within established guidelines.
  • Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience, or at least 1 year in the complex rehab/assistive technology industry.
  • Prior experience in sales management, market development, marketing, training, or technical services is beneficial.
