Port City Logistics, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Corporate Security Manager to oversee security operations and contracted services across multiple locations.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with experience in supervising security teams, developing policies, and managing budgets. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining robust corporate protocols, and communicating clear directives to the security team.

This role requires a high level of organization, with the ability to multitask and prioritize urgent staffing requirements effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this position.

About the Role

In this challenging and dynamic role, you will:

  • Supervise and manage security operations across 7-9 locations, including hiring, training, and scheduling a team of security specialists.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to maintain robust corporate protocols.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the corporate security plan using established KPIs and report findings to leadership.
  • Ensure adequate coverage at all warehouse locations, coordinate staffing during callouts or time-off requests, and provide ongoing training and coaching to team members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a company-owned vehicle safely.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in a security-related field.
  • Strong experience in networking and building professional relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with computer systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a security specialist, guard/officer, or equivalent, including military or civilian police experience.

Port City Logistics, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000-$110,000 based on industry standards and location.
